The Real Problem

Cloud spend only ever goes up by itself.

Provisioning takes a minute and decommissioning takes a decision, so environments accumulate. Test instances outlive the project, storage tiers stay hot long after the data went cold, and licenses keep billing for a migration that finished two years ago. Nobody is responsible for turning things off, and the bill grows quietly enough that nobody questions it until it’s large.

The security version of the same problem is worse: resources nobody remembers provisioning are also resources nobody is patching.

What’s Included

What cloud services covers.

Migration Planning

Staged moves with rollback paths, rather than a weekend cutover and a hope.

Cost Optimization

Orphaned resources found, storage tiered correctly, and instances right-sized against real usage.

Security Baseline

Identity, network, and logging configured to a documented standard instead of provider defaults.

Backup & Recovery

Cloud workloads protected properly — a provider’s availability is not the same thing as your backup.

Decommissioning

Old environments actually shut down and billing stopped, which is the step most migrations skip.

Ongoing Governance

Review cadence so the environment doesn’t quietly drift back to sprawl.

Common Questions

Answers, plainly.

Is cloud cheaper than on-premise?

Sometimes. It converts capital cost to operating cost and adds flexibility, but an unmanaged cloud environment can easily cost more than the servers it replaced.

Should we move everything?

Usually not. Some workloads genuinely belong on hardware you control, and a hybrid answer is often the right one.

What’s on your cloud bill that shouldn’t be?

There’s usually something. We’ll review your environment and tell you what can be switched off.
